This nutritious grain is commonly added to cereals and muffins, and provides a wonderful source of dietary fiber. Oat bran has also been shown to lower HDL (the bad cholesterol) in addition to helping the body normalize its blood sugar levels. Details Serving Size: 1/3 cup         Servings per container: 10 Suggested Use: Oat Bran is an excellent source of both soluble and insoluble fiber. Oat Bran can be taken directly raw, as a hot cereal, or used in baking muffins and other foods. To use as a hot cereal, simmer 2/3 cup Oat Bran in 2 cups water for 2 minutes, while stirring.
